This is social media post I created for Planet LA Records in celebration of Black History Month. As a music lover and advocate for representation, it was an honor to highlight some of the incredible black artists that have graced the music industry with their talent and creativity.

In the post, I chose to showcase a variety of artists spanning different genres and eras, from the legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin to contemporary hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar.

I wanted to make the post more than just a list of names and images, so I took the time to research each artist and include a brief biography that highlighted their accomplishments and contributions to music. I also included a call to action for our followers to continue supporting black artists beyond Black History Month.

Overall, I'm really proud of the post and the impact it had. It received a lot of positive engagement from our followers and sparked some great conversations about the importance of representation and diversity in music. It was a great reminder that social media can be a powerful tool for spreading awareness and promoting positive change.
